Elbow Flexion and Extension with Towel Stand up straight against a wall or door. Place a rolled up towel behind the back of your arm. With your thumb facing up bend and straighten your elbow as far as you can without pain. Repeat exercise with your palm down and again with palm up. Make sure your elbow is tucked into your side and you are standing up straight against the wall to ensure you are not using other joints to achieve your motion.
