ATG modified elephant walk/stretch Hinging forward at the hips with buttock pointed up in air and slight knee flexion bilaterally, rest hands in comfortable position to support self in position of gentle stretch in hamstrings. One leg at a time, flex the quadriceps until knee joint is fully straightened. Pause and return it to slight flexed/slack position before doing the opposite side. Go back and forth, contracting quad then relaxing back to flexed position. If stretch begins to decrease, you may try to walk hands down to lower resting position, thus increasing the tension felt in the hamstrings.
