Wall Slides, Serratus and lower trap variations Starting position: picture in top left. Pinkies touching the wall, hands shoulder height. Raise your hands into a Y, as in the second photo, rotate your thumbs outwards as you reach up into a Y, keep your low back from arching. Progression 1: lower trap; at the top of the Y, lift one arm behind you, palm facing behind you, then bring the other arm from the wall, lower back to the start position (picture in top left) Progression 2: place a theraband under your armpits, around your back, and looped around your hands, perform the same motion into a Y. You should feel activation under your armpits
