Cat/Cow Bring yourself into a crawl position (all fours). Ensure that your knees are directly underneath your hips and your hands are directly underneath your shoulders. INHALE, allowing your back to arch and your pelvis to tilt forward while you look up toward the ceiling. EXHALE and then round your back and allow your pelvis to tilt backward while you tuck your head under. **If having trouble allowing your pelvis to tilt as it should, imagine it is a bucket of water. When you inhale and arch your back while tilting the pelvis forward, the water is tipping out of the front of the bucket down towards the floor. When you exhale and round your back and tilt your pelvis back, the water is tipping out of the back of the bucket.
