Thread the Needle This movement is predicated on increasing spinal mobility in the rotational pattern while stretching the musculature associated with that movement pattern (Mid and low back, rhomboids, hips) 1) Start in a tabletop position w/ shoulders and hips relaxed 2) Bring one arm to "thread" underneath the opposite ^ palm thats down to support you from falling onto your head ^ bear most of the weight on the arm that's threading to pull you further into rotation 3) after holding thread for 5-8 seconds open up the opposite direction and reach the hand to the ceiling 4) Repeat for 10 reps on the same side and switch to to the other side * Click on icon for video demo
