Strengthening Exercise (Rocks/Marble Pick-ups) This exercise is to strengthen the intrinsic muscles of the foot in the plantar fascia area (bottom of the foot) muscles. STEPS: 1.) Prepare a chair, bath towel, small container and rocks (that are available from your backyard) make sure that the rocks are around 10-15mm not too big nor too small. 2.) Sit on the chair and make sure it will have a back support, lay the bath towel flat on the floor, make sure the patient is bare foot to be able to crunch the toes more and activate the target muscles. 3.) Perform the exercise by transferring each rock on the container (5 rocks prepared)
