Getting on/off floor Getting down to floor 1. Stand by something solid (table, bed, chair, etc). 2. Using solid surface to help you kneel down to floor (proposing position). Then to both knees on floor. 3. Now move hands onto floor also, so you are on hands and knees. 4. Next roll onto bottom by bring your bottom to your feet and using hands to control the motion. Getting off floor 1. Start in sitting position, use hands to help you get onto hands and knees. 2. Next crawl over to a solid surface. Walk hands up body then to solid surface, so you are kneeling on both knees. 3. Bring one foot forward so that you are kneeling on one knee (proposing position). 4. While using your arms to help, push yourself up into standing.
